By submitting a Community Asset Transfer (CAT) request for Herdmanflat Woodland, we’re offering a solution that protects this much-loved green space while taking East Lothian Council’s financial considerations into account.

Our approach shows a commitment to working together for a win-win outcome. It’s about meeting housing needs responsibly while preserving the unique character and value of Herdmanflat Woodland for generations to come. We believe collaboration and open dialogue can help us achieve something truly special—a future where development and green spaces thrive side by side.
